The 5th edition of the Contest offers four categories to compete in, giving an opportunity for eight organisations to be recognized as Winners (Lions and Tigers pools in each category).

Each application will be assessed by the Jury panel against core principles of the Diamond Awards:  innovation, creativity, performance  and impact.

Leader in:

Business Excellence

Recognition of the projects which enhance the process effectiveness, quality, reduce operational costs or are, overall, beneficial to the enterprise.

Driving high performance and higher productivity across organizations and enhancing financial performance of operations are standard practices in today’s business services sector. The ability for each organization to continuously improve the bottom line is at the heart of operations.

This category seeks to recognize the projects that brought the highest productivity, significant improvements and contributed to improving business excellence through enhanced process quality, reduction of operational costs or overall contribution to the enterprise. We look at projects driven either through continuous improvement or business process re-engineering, as well as the adoption of innovations and cutting-edge technologies.

PROJECT GOAL AND SCOPE

How did you identify the need for your project? What change did it mean to make and what were the expected goals? Number and nature of stakeholders engaged (single/multiple functions, local or global departments) and employed resources. How long did it take to design and implement the initiative/project?

IMPLEMENTATION

Please describe the approach (methodologies, processes, technologies, governance…etc) applied and what was done/delivered at the execution phase.

ACHIEVED BENEFITS AND RESULTS

How did the implemented project affect the financial performance (cost reduction, cost avoidance)? How did the project improve your competitive advantage? Did the project bring other benefits (income stream, higher recognition…)? Please supply proof of success e.g. statistics, financial results, ratios, percentages, ROI, …etc.<br/><br/> Can the initiative be replicated in other processes/functions? Has it been deployed in other entities or organizations or at the other organizations (same capital group organizations, customers)?

Vibrant Workplace

The category awards innovative and creatively implemented initiatives or solutions, which result in an extraordinary work environment answering the current challenges, such as revolutionary changes of the work models.

The working environment has continuously evolved over the last decades but it has experienced the revolutionary challenged in the last couple of years . The COVID-19 pandemic forced major rethinking of the workplace concept.

Work from home and hybrid models have introduced numerous challenges when it comes to internal communication, workflow,  building brand association and a sense of belonging among the employees.

Many companies design and implement programs that make their working environment align with the current trends and employees’ exectations while still remaining unique, inspiring, and energizing in these times of change. These new and creative initiatives can include IT, real estate, social, or ethical features that are not pay-related and that continously make the working environment more vibrant, pleasant, and friendly.

How have you measured (quantified) the end results for your organization and company? How can it positively impact the business services sector? What are the next septs (if any)?

This category awards the best, most unique projects aimed at drawing, retaining and educating the talent pool of the company.

The business services sector  offers the richest and most diverse portfolio of functional activities. It includes finance, banking, HR, IT, communications, logistics, customer services, marketing, R&D, just to mention but a fiew. Such diversity is combined with a large range of processes operated within the sector. To successfully drive its performance, each organization relies on one of its strongest assets: talents.

This category aims at rewarding initiatives and programs, which make extra efforts to succesfully hire, grow, promote/develop and retain their talents as the most vital force of to stimulate the current and growing pace of the sector.

To what extent did the initiative influence your  talents, develop your teams or attract high potentials into your company?  What are the next steps (if any)? How did it impact the organization and people?  Can it positively impact the business services sector?

This category awards projects that reflect responsibility for the future in the company business strategy.

Recognition of the company that reflects responsibility for the future in its business strategy, inspires others to take action and responds to all disruptions in a sustainable manner. This category aims at rewarding initiatives that focus on the sustainable business strategy which incorporates economy, social responsibility, diversity & inclusion as well as environmental issues. The award recognizes projects which bring long-term value, and which have a positive impact on the wider society.

IMPLEMENTATION/PARTNERSHIPS/ENGAGEMENT BUILT

Please describe the approach (methodologies, processes, technologies, governance…etc) applied and what was done/delivered at the execution phase.

ACHIEVED RESULTS AND BENEFITS

Direct impact on the company business, its employees and wider society . How did the initiative contribute to the needs of wider society and future generations e.g. promotion of diversity, inclusion and equality? How does the project benefit the environment through sustainable practices? What is the economic impact of the project?

INITITIATIVE COMMUNICATION

What was the communication in terms of raising awareness of the initiative to the outside world? Was it featured in the media? How did the media respond? What is perspective for the long-term legacy and stimulation of similar initiatives by other organizations?
